Personally, I like WriteBros Blue Pens. Pen is surprisingly responsive to pressure in terms of shading, and on such a large scale as he is working, I'm not surprised that the gradients are so smooth. Pen is also very convenient... it's cheap, and the only supplies you need: pen and paper. It's also easy to improve, as you can 'doodle' constantly: no water, easel, brushes etc required! Like all [most] mediums, it requires portraying light... you just don't have the advantages/hinderances of colour! These are really awesome... I too would like to see them up close. I'm inspired!

Re: The "R rated" Ballpoint Pen Drawings of Juan Francisco Casas

This is absolutley amazing! I imagine it's a lot more difficult to draw with a ballpoint oen than oils etc?

This is something I have never thought possible will ballpoint pens! - Perhaps this or safer pictures would make a good advert for the possibility of the pen.

Not only can you write great words - you can create great art!

Re: The "R rated" Ballpoint Pen Drawings of Juan Francisco Casas

these are unbelievable!! i'd love to see these up close & in person.
